คัมแบ็คในรอบ 1 ปี 6 เดือน รู้สึกอย่างไรบ้าง?

แทยง: พวกเรา NCT 127 ได้คัมแบคในรอบ 1 ปีครึ่งใช่ไหมครับ? มันค่อนข้างที่จะ… จะพูดอย่างไรดีนะครับ ในช่วงที่ผ่านมา ทุกคนพยายามพัฒนาตัวเองกันอย่างมากครับ ก็เลยเหมือนทำให้คุณภาพของอัลบั้มนี้สูงขึ้นไปด้วยครับ และผมก็คิดว่าพวกเราสามารถโชว์ให้แฟนๆ ได้เห็นถึงภาพลักษณ์ที่พัฒนามากขึ้นของเราครับ แม้ว่าตอนนี้ เรายังไม่ได้โชว์ทั้งหมดให้แฟนๆ ได้เห็นกัน แต่ถ้าเราได้ทัวร์ด้วยอัลบั้มนี้ ผมก็คิดว่าเราจะสามารถโชว์ภาพลักษณ์แบบนั้น ให้แฟนๆ ได้เห็นกันโดยเร็วครับ

แทยง: โอ้ คอนเซปต์ของอัลบั้มนี้…

ยูตะ: คาวบอยครับ

แจฮยอน: คาวบอยแห่งอนาคตครับ

จอห์นนี่: แบบนั้นเลยครับ

แทยง: คาวบอยที่มาจากอนาคตครับ

แทยง: แบบ… ผมคิดว่ามันไม่น่าเบื่อเลยครับ

แฮชาน: ใช่แล้วครับ

แทยง: จริงๆ แล้ว คาวบอยดูเหมือนมาจากสมัยก่อนใช่ไหมครับ แต่พวกเราอธิบายออกมาในแบบที่เหมือนว่า มาจากอนาคตครับ ซึ่งมันน่าสนใจมากๆ กับการอธิบายถึงความแตกต่างในเรื่องของเวลา เราอยู่ในอนาคต ไม่ใช่ปัจจุบัน มิวสิกวิดีโอสามารถบอกทุกอย่างได้เลยครับ มิวสิกวิดีโออธิบายออกมาได้ดีมากๆ เลยครับ ใช่แล้วครับ มิวสิกวิดีโอน่าประทับใจมากครับ

ตอนฟังเพลง "Sticker" ครั้งแรก รู้สึกยังไงกันบ้าง?

แจฮยอน: เสียงขลุ่ยตอนเริ่มเพลง น่าจะติดอยู่ในหัวตลอดเวลาเลยครับ

จอห์นนี่: น่าประทับใจมากครับ

ยูตะ: ผมคิดว่า ช่างเป็นเพลงที่มีเอกลักษณ์มากครับ ยิ่งฟัง ยิ่งมีองค์ประกอบมากมายที่ทำให้ติดหูผมครับ พวกเราเองก็ตกหลุมรักเพลง "Sticker" เหมือนกันครับ เพราะฉะนั้น ทุกคนไปฟังเพลง "Sticker" แล้วตกหลุมรักทำนองของเพลงนี้กันด้วยนะครับ

แฟนๆ ชาวไทยชอบเพลง "Lemonade" กันมากเลย แล้วจาก track videos ทั้งหมด ชอบเพลงอะไรกันบ้าง?

ยูตะ: ผมเองก็ชอบ "Lemonade" เหมือนกันครับ ครั้งนี้พวกเราถ่าย Track Video กันทั้งหมด 4 เพลงครับ ซึ่งผมคิดว่า มันถูกถ่ายทำออกมาได้ยอดเยี่ยมมากครับ อย่างที่คิดไว้ พวกเรา NCT 127 เข้ากับเพลง "Lemonade" มากครับ

แฮชาน: จริงๆ ผมก็ชอบเพลง "Lemonade" มากครับ แต่ก็ชอบ Track Video เพลง "Magic Carpet Ride" มากๆ เหมือนกันครับ เพราะดูจะสื่ออารมณ์อ่อนไหวของสมาชิกออกมาได้ดีมาก ซึ่งนั่นเป็นสิ่งที่ผมชอบมากครับ

โดยอง: ส่วนผมชอบเพลง "Road Trip" มากๆ ครับ ไม่ใช่เพลงธรรมดาสำหรับ NCT 127 เลยครับ เพราะเป็นเพลงที่มีบรรยากาศแบบอะคูสติกครับ และ Track Video ของเพลงนี้ ก็น่ารักมากด้วยครับ

ยูตะ: ของผมนั้น จะพูดอย่างไรดีนะครับ ทำนายอนาคต? ผมรับบทเป็นคนที่มีความสามารถในการทำนายอนาคตได้ครับ ผมมีคลิปที่ถ่ายฉากสนุกๆ เยอะมากครับ แต่ว่ามันถูกตัดต่อออกไปหมดเลยครับ น่าเสียดายนิดหน่อยครับ

แฮชาน: ส่วนผมได้ถ่ายร่วมกับพี่จองอู และพี่แทอิลครับ จริงๆ แล้วมันมีรูปแบบพื้นฐานอยู่ครับ แต่ 80% เป็นการด้นสดครับ พี่จองอู ทำงานได้ยอดเยี่ยมมาก ตลกมากๆ ครับ การถ่ายทำเลยสนุกสุดๆ ครับ

โดยอง: ครั้งแรกของผมเลยครับที่ได้เล่นซิทคอม ถือเป็นประสบการณ์ที่สนุกดีครับ

ผ่านมา 5 ปีแล้วหลัง NCT 127 เดบิวต์ คิดว่าเติบโตขึ้นได้ในด้านไหนบ้าง?

ยูตะ: อันนี้ผมพูดจากใจจริง ไม่ล้อเล่นใดๆ เลยนะครับ ผมได้เรียนรู้ว่า สิ่งที่ต้องยอมแพ้ก็ต้องยอมแพ้ และเน้นทำในสิ่งที่สำคัญครับ เมื่อก่อน ผมพยายามอย่างดีที่สุดสำหรับทุกอย่างที่ผมทำ แต่ยังไงมันก็มีสิ่งที่ไม่ใช่ และสิ่งที่ควรต้องทำครับ เหมือนว่าผมสามารถเข้าใจเรื่องพวกนี้ได้เป็นอย่างดีครับ

แฮชาน: ส่วนผมจะเป็นความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับงานนี้ครับ สิ่งที่ผมเคยมองเกี่ยวกับงานนี้จากมุมมองคนนอก และสิ่งที่ผมได้ลงมือทำสัมผัสด้วยตัวเองจริงๆ การเข้าใจถึงความแตกต่างในเรื่องเหล่านั้น ผมใช้เวลานานมากเลยครับ

โดยอง: ผมเองก็คล้ายๆ กับสองคนนี้ครับ ตลอดช่วงเวลา 5 ปี ผมได้เรียนรู้ประสบการณ์เยอะมากครับ ตอนที่ผมเดบิวต์ ผมไม่เข้าใจถึงสิ่งที่ศิลปินรุ่นพี่กำลังรู้สึกอยู่นะ พอเวลาผ่านไปผมถึงเข้าใจว่า ทำไมตอนนั้นรุ่นพี่ถึงพูดแบบนั้นกัน ดังนั้น ถ้ามีรุ่นน้อง ผมเองก็อยากจะบอกสิ่งเดียวกันกับพวกเขาครับ แต่น้องๆ ก็อาจจะยังไม่เข้าใจกัน

ยูตะ: ใช่ครับ อันนั้นเราต้องรู้สึกด้วยตัวเอง

โดยอง: แต่ช่วงนี้ผมรู้ว่า การเป็นธรรมชาติคือ สิ่งที่ดีครับ

หลังหมดโควิด-19 ถ้าได้มาเจอแฟนๆ ชาวไทยที่ประเทศไทย อยากทำอะไรในไทยบ้าง และอยากบอกอะไรแฟนๆ บ้าง

แฮชาน: อย่างแรกเลย แน่นอนว่าพวกเราอยากทำคอนเสิร์ตมากๆ ครับ และถ้ามีโอกาสก็อยากกินข้าวเหนียวมะม่วงครับ

ยูตะ: ผมก็ชอบมากครับ! ประเทศไทยอากาศก็ดี อาหารก็อร่อย และผู้คนก็ใจดีมากๆ ประเทศไทยเลยเป็นหนึ่งในประเทศที่ผมชอบมาก เลยอยากไปมากๆ ครับ

โดยอง: แน่นอนว่า ผมอยากทำทุกอย่างที่สองคนนี้พูดมาครับ แต่ผมยังไม่เคยไปทะเลที่ประเทศไทยเลยสักครั้งครับ

ยูตะ: อ่า จริงเหรอครับ?

โดยอง: ดังนั้น ผมเลยอยากไปเห็นทะเลที่ประเทศไทยสักครั้งครับ

Sanook.com’s exclusive interview with NCT 127 will make you fall in love with them and want to stick with them “Like a Sticker” for a very long long time.

We believe many of you, NCTzen or not, would have watched or listened to NCT 127’s latest song “Sticker” that comes with addicted flute sound making you remember this song since the first time. But more than that, their third full-length album with the same title also has many songs wirth many genres that will let you see the various musical skills from all of the 9 members: TAEIL, JOHNNY, TAEYONG, YUTA, DOYOUNG, JAEHYUN, JUNGWOO, MARK and HAECHAN. 

Moreover, Sanook had an exclusive interview with YUTA, DOYOUNG and HAECHAN who will be giving you the behind-the-scenes of their YouTube content, what they learned from the past 5 years since debuted and what they would like to do if they have a chance to come to Thailand.

You've made a comeback within 1 year and 6 months. How do you feel?

TAEYONG: NCT 127 had made a comeback within 1 and a half year, right? It's quite... How can I say this? Lately, we've tried to improve ourselves a lot. So, that made this album get higher quality. And I think we can show the fans our developed images. We may not show them all to the fans yet, but if we hold a concert tour after this album, I think we can show our images like that and let the fans see that side of us quickly.

Please explain the concept of this album, "Sticker"

TAEYONG: Oh, the concept of this album…

YUTA: Cowboy.

JAEHYUN: Futuristic cowboy.

JOHNNY: Something like that.

TAEYONG: Cowboy from the future. Like... I don't think it's boring at all.

HAECHAN: Yes.

TAEYONG: Actually, cowboys represent a retro vibe, right? But we present it like it's from the future, so it's very interesting to describe time differences. We live in the future, not the present. The music video can tell you everything.

JOHNNY: The music video explains everything very well.

TAEYONG: Yes. The music video is very impressive.

How did you feel when you listened to the title track, "Sticker", for the first time?

JAEHYUN: The sound of the flute when the song began was stuck in my head all the time.

JOHNNY: Very impressive.

YUTA: I think it was such a unique song. The more you listen, the more you hear the components that make this song catchy. We also fell in love with "Sticker". So, everyone should listen to "Sticker" and let's fall in love with the melody of this song.

Exclusive interview with YUTA, DOYOUNG and HAECHAN

Thai fans seem to like "Lemonade" a lot! Of all the track videos, which one do you like most and why?

YUTA: I like "Lemonade" too. This time we shot 4 track videos and I think they all are amazing. As expected, NCT 127 really suits the "Lemonade" sound.

HAECHAN: Actually, I like "Lemonade" a lot too. But I also like the "Magic Carpet Ride" track video a lot. It reflected the members' sentimental sides very well, which I like so much.

DOYOUNG: For me, I like "Road Trip" so much. It's not an ordinary song for NCT 127. It has an acoustic vibe and the track video is so cute.

NCIT House is really fun! Any funny moments during behind-the-scenes?

YUTA: For me, how can I say this? Fortune telling? I play the role of someone who can predict the future. Actually I shot so many fun scenes, but they were all edited out... It's a little disappointing.

HAECHAN: I got into the scene with JUNGWOO hyung and TAEIL hyung. Actually, there were scripts, but 80% of it was improvisation. Jungwoo hyung did so great. He was very funny. We had so much fun during the shoot.

DOYOUNG: It was my first time playing a sit-com. It was such a fun experience.

It has been 5 years since NCT 127's debut. In what ways do you think you’ve grown up?

YUTA: Honestly, no kidding at all. I learned that “what I have to give up, just give up”, and focus on what is important. In the past, I tried my best in all the things I did, but there's still things that are not for you and things you should do. It's like I understand these kinds of things very well.

HAECHAN: For me, it's the understanding of this job. What I've seen as an outsider for this job and what I actually did and experienced by myself. I took so long to understand the differences.

DOYOUNG: I'm kind of similar to them. Throughout 5 years, I gained so much experience. When I debuted, I couldn't understand what my senior artists felt. But when the time passed, I understood why they said that. So, If I meet my juniors, I'd like to tell them the same thing. But they may not understand right away.

YUTA: Yes. They may have to experience it by themselves.

DOYOUNG: But recently I know that being natural is a good thing.

 After the pandemic ends, if you have a chance to go to Thailand and meet Thai fans, what would you want to do in Thailand and what would you like to say to them?

HAECHAN: First of all, we definitely want to hold a concert. And if I have a chance, I'd love to have mango sticky rice.

YUTA: I like that so much! Thailand has good weather, delicious food and very kind people. So, Thailand is one of my most favorite countries and I'd love to go so bad.

DOYOUNG: I definitely want to do what they say too. But I've never visited the beach in Thailand before.

YUTA: Ah, really?

DOYOUNG: So, I'd like to go to the beach in Thailand once.
