งานประกาศรางวัลสุดยิ่งใหญ่อีกหนึ่งงานของเหล่าศิลปินเกาหลีใต้ ที่สามารถความนิยมในการฟังเพลงผ่านหนึ่งในแอปพลิเคชั่นสตรีมมิ่งที่เป็นที่นิยมที่สุดในเกาหลีใต้อย่าง Melon จัดขึ้นอย่างยิ่งใหญ่ในช่วงเย็นของวันที่ 4 ธันวาคมที่ผ่านมา

BTS และ IU (ไอยู) คว้ารางวัลไปได้มากที่สุดถึง 5 รางวัล โดยรางวัลใหญ่ๆ อย่าง Song of the Year เป็นของ BTS เพลง “Butter” รางวัล Album of the Year ตกเป็นของ IU จากอัลบั้ม LILAC และ IU ยังคว้ารางวัล Artist of the Year อีกด้วย โดยมีวงน้องใหม่มาแรงอย่าง aespa ที่คว้าไปได้ถึง 4 รางวัล ได้แก่ Record of the Year, New Artist of the Year (Female) และ Best Group (Female)
