ฉากในตัวเสริม The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone จะเน้นที่ไปที่ดินแดน Velen ซึ่งเรียกกันว่า ดินแดนไร้ผู้คน No Man's Land เพราะเนื้อเรื่องใหม่ที่เพิ่มเข้ามาของบทเสริมนี้จะเน้นเนื้อเรื่องที่ดินแดนนี้ และยังมีเนื้อเรื่องเสริมตัวที่สองเกี่ยวกับ Gaunter O'Dim ฉายามนุษย์กระจก ที่เมือง Oxenfurt ด้วย
