Rakim Hasheem Allen is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who is managed by SAL&CO commonly known by his stage name that is OnB Rock. PnB was born on December 9 in the year 1991, in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to his parents but was primarily raised by his mother. At his young age, he used to live in Northeast Philadelphia so he grew up by listening to rapper 2Pac and R&B group Jodeci.

He is known for his tracks such as "Fleek", "Selfish", and many more dropped in the year 2015 and 2016, Selfish peaked at number 51 on the US Billboard Hot 100. PnB is known for his double studio album titled Trapstar Turnt Popstar, which he released in the year 2019, and Allen which was chosen as part of the XXL Freshman Class in the year 2017.

Later, PnB Rock dropped his debut mixtape which was titled “Real N*gga Bangaz” on June 24, 2014, which he wrote while he was incarcerated. The mixtape came out as a huge hit and soon he was signed to a record deal with the record label Atlantic Records in the year 2015. Under the label, he gave his first project with Atlantic which was titled RnB3 and it was his third mixtape. He later released his hit single, "Selfish” in June 2016, The song peaked at #51 on the US Billboard Hot 100, and in October of the year 2016, Rolling Stone included him in their list of "10 New Artists You Need to Know".

He Later dropped his second mixtape album which was titled, GTTM: Goin Thru the Motions with Atlantic Records and Empire Distribution on January 10, 2017, the album debuted at number 28 on the US Billboard 200 chart. In April 2017, he participated in the soundtrack of The Fate of the Furious with his singles including "Gang Up" in which he collaborated with Young Thug, 2 Chainz, and Wiz Khalifa, and the second song "Horses" which was with Kodak Black and A Boogie wit da Hoodie. 

In June 2017, it was announced that PnB Rock was one of the tens of XXL's "2017 Freshman Class" with A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Playboi Carti, Ugly God, Kyle, Aminé, MadeinTYO, Kamaiyah, Kap G, and XXXTentacion. PnB has been connected with celebrated artists such as Roy Woods, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Sonny Digital, Fetty Wap, Rod Wave, Ed Sheeran, Wiz Khalifa, Lil Yachty, Kodak Black, Trippie Redd, XXXTentacion, YFN Lucci, Chance the Rapper, and many more.
