ในที่สุด แทมิน (TAEMIN) ก็ปิดท้ายมหากาพย์งานเพลงปี 2020 ในฐานะศิลปินเดี่ยว กับอัลบั้มเต็มชุดที่ 3 Never Gonna Dance Again : Act 2 ได้อย่างสวยงาม จากการคว้าอันดับ 1 บน Top Album Charts ได้ใน 31 ประเทศทั่วโลก ยังไม่รวมถึงงานเพลงในฝั่งของ SuperM ที่ทำได้ดีไม่แพ้กัน และล่าสุดกับการกลับมาของ SHINee ที่แฟนๆ ทุกคนรอคอย Sanook Music พามาอัปเดตถึงผลงานล่าสุด และแผนต่อไปของแทมินในปี 2021 ที่จะถึงนี้ ว่าเขาเตรียมย่างเข้าสู่ปีที่ 13 บนถนนสายดนตรีของเขาเอาไว้อย่างไรบ้าง

แทมิน! เราได้คุยกันอีกครั้งหลังจากที่ได้สัมภาษณ์ไปตอนที่ปล่อยเพลง “2 KIDS” ที่เล่าถึงเรื่องราวในอดีตสมัยยังเป็นเด็ก ครั้งนี้แทมินกลับมาพร้อมกับเพลง “IDEA” เพลงนี้เกี่ยวกับอะไร? และมีส่วนที่เชื่อมโยงกับ “2 KIDS” และ “Criminal” ที่ปล่อยออกมาก่อนหน้านี้หรือไม่?

แทมิน: นักแต่งเพลงเขียนเนื้อเพลงที่ยอดเยี่ยมเกี่ยวกับ “การเริ่มต้นใหม่” ด้วยการนำคำพูด และได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจากทฤษฎีของ Plato ครับ

แทมิน: ผมอยากแนะนำเพลง “Think Of You” ครับ บางครั้งผมต้องการที่จะผ่อนคลาย และเอนหลังลง ผมคิดว่ามีแฟนๆ หลายคนที่คิดเหมือนกันกับผม ผมหวังว่าพวกเขาจะได้ฟังเพลงนี้ และหวังว่าผมสามารถที่จะช่วย และสนับสนุนแฟนๆ ของผมได้ครับ

เห็นว่าทำคลิปสอนเต้นกับสมาชิกวง NCT/WayV ด้วย เป็นไงมาไงถึงได้มาทำคลิปด้วยกัน? บรรยากาศตอนถ่ายทำเป็นยังไงบ้าง?

แทมิน: ก็แค่พักผ่อน หรือ นึกถึงสิ่งต่างๆ และจัดการความคิดของตัวเองครับ

แทมินได้ลองแสดงมินิดราม่าในเรียลลิตี้ As You Wish ของ SuperM ด้วย อยากทำงานด้านแสดงอีกไหม?

แทมิน: ไม่ครับ ผมไม่อยากแสดงอีกครับ ^^

 
ในสมาชิก SuperM แทมินคิดว่าเข้ากันได้กับใครมากที่สุด? เพราะอะไร?

แทมิน: ผมชอบสมาชิกทุกคน และมีเคมีที่ดีกับพวกเขานะครับ แต่ถ้าต้องเลือกผมคิดว่าเป็น เตนล์ ครับ เพราะว่าเรามีความสนใจทางดนตรี และมีบุคลิกลักษณะที่เหมือนกันครับ

ในปีนี้แทมินได้เป็นทั้งศิลปินเดี่ยว สมาชิก SuperM และ SHINee ด้วย เพราะเพิ่งต้อนรับที่มินโฮกลับมาจากการรับใช้ชาติเรียบร้อยแล้ว SHINee มีแผนจะปล่อยผลงานใหม่บ้างไหม?

แทมิน: ครับ พวกเรากำลังเตรียมงานกันอยู่ครับ และพวกเราอยากจะโชว์ให้แฟนๆ ของเราได้เห็นอย่างเร็วที่สุดเท่าที่จะทำได้ครับ

 
คราวที่แล้วแทมินบอกเราว่า อยากจะดูเอตกับกับ อนยู ยังพอเป็นไปได้อยู่ไหม? ถ้าได้ทำ อยากทำเพลงสไตล์ไหนด้วยกัน?

แทมิน: พวกเรายังไม่มีแผนแบบเฉพาะเจาะจงครับ แต่ว่าถ้ามีโอกาสก็อยากจะลองทำแนว “lyrical music” ครับ

เป็นศิลปินมา 12 ปี แล้ว SHINee World มีความหมายอย่างไรกับแทมินบ้าง? อยากจะบอกอะไรกับพวกเขาที่คอยอยู่เคียงข้างมาตลอดทุกช่วงจังหวะของชีวิตเป็นระยะเวลายาวนานขนาดนี้?

แทมิน: ผมคิดว่าเป็นเรื่องยากที่สุดที่จะบรรยายออกมาเป็นคำพูดครับ เมื่อเวลาผ่านไปพวกเขาก็มีความรักที่เพิ่มมากขึ้น แม้ว่าจะไม่สามารถแสดงออกมาในคำว่ารักได้ แต่พวกเขามีค่าต่อผม และผมรู้สึกขอบคุณมากครับ

Finally, TAEMIN has completed his epic music in 2020 as a solo artist successfully with his 3rd full album, Never Gonna Dance Again : Act 2, by grabbing No.1 spot on top album charts in 31 countries all around the world. He has also been doing a great job as a member of SuperM, and recently fans are waiting for the return of SHINee as Minho, one of the members, is back from the military service. Sanook Music will bring you the updates of him for his latest work and what he would plan for his 13th year in the music career.

Hi again TAEMIN! We, Sanook Music, interviewed you before when you released “2 KIDS”, which told your childhood story through the song. This time you come back with “IDEA”, what is the song about. Is it related to “2 KIDS” and “Criminal” that you released earlier?

TAEMIN: The Song-writer, wrote great lyrics about “New start” by quoting and being inspired by Plato’s theory.

I was planning for a storytelling from the beginning. “2 KIDS” indirectly shows broken and hurt, “Criminal” shows broken and falling into the abyss while “IDEA” shows a new start with rise up.

Rather than expressing these directly, I’d like to attach the meaning to each song and that’s the album Never Gonna Dance Again, so “2 KIDS” and “Criminal” linked together but showing different images (messages).

What’s your most favorite song in this album that you would like to recommend your fans to listen to?

TAEMIN: I’d like to recommend a song called “Think Of You”. Sometimes I wanted to be comforted and lean on. I think there are other fans who are thinking the same as me and hope they will listen to this song, and I hope I can be helpful and support my fans (through the song). 

You've been doing dance tutorials with NCT/WayV members. How did you come up with this idea? Do you have fun while filming with them?

TAEMIN: As I got close to the members, they asked me to join them first or do a challenge, so I really appreciate it. When I was teaching them dance, they learned really fast so I thought it was amazing.

You told NCT’s HAECHAN that you are lonely while promoting alone as a solo artist. What do you normally do when you are alone in the waiting room or sitting in a car back home after finishing the schedules?

TAEMIN: Just take a rest or think about things and organize my own thoughts.

You also have a chance to do a mini drama in SuperM’s As You Wish reality show. Would you like to be an actor again?      

TAEMIN: No, I don't want to act again ^^

Among all of the SuperM members, whom do you think you have the best chemistry with? And why?

TAEMIN: I like all members and have good chemistry with them. But if I have to pick, I think it’s TEN. Because we have musically and characteristically in common.

This year you have a chance to be a solo artist TAEMIN, SuperM’s TAEMIN and SHINee’s TAEMIN because MINHO has just finished his military service. Does SHINee have a plan to come back with a new song or album?

TAEMIN: Yes, we have been working on it, and we want to show it to our fans as soon as possible.

You told us last time that you would like to work as a unit (duet) with ONEW. Is this still possible? What music styles would you like to do with him?

TAEMIN: We don't have a specific plan yet, but if we have a chance, we’d like to try “lyrical music” style.

After being an artist for 12 years now, what does ‘SHINee World’ mean to you? What would you like to say to them as they are still with you through many ups and downs for a very long time?

TAEMIN: I think it's the hardest thing to put it in words. As time goes by, they are more affectionate. They are so precious and I am so thankful that it can't even be expressed in the word of love.
